The PetFed Mumbai 2019: Part 1

PetFed is one of the most popular pet meet that is organized annually at various locations around the country. Pets of all shapes, sizes and breeds are welcome and there are multiple events organized for them.

This year’s, PetFed Mumbai was organized on 19th and 20th of January. Below are some of the photos from the first day of the event to help bring back memories of the wonderful time spent in company of the furballs. Enjoy!

What I found quite amazing is that there were quite a few number of pets around and there was remarkably less snapping and fighting amongst them, they all got along so well. Kudos to the owners s who have trained their pets to behave well.

PetFed2017 Mumbai – Part 2

Day 1 at PetFed 2017 was amazing, while day 2 had more of pups and humans coming in for the shows and games. On the second day, I barely took some photos for I was too busy cuddling furballs all over the field. Here are a few:

There was a dog obedience demonstration and the dogs featured were non other than Begian Malinois. Since watching Person of Interest, I always wanted to get close to a Malinois. Such innocent face they have, cuties, while one must always remember that there are fewer more loyal or ferocious.

Then there was a Poodle. A super pretty and quite a tiny one.

Then, there was this puppy and this rabbit, the only rabbit in the entire PetFed 2017.

To end, I will say that it was a wonderful weekend of playing and cuddling with so many dogs and cats. Had an amazing time working with fellow photographers and other volunteers and I look forward to meeting even more pets the next PetFed!!

The Pre-PetFed Get together

A week or so back, I found myself at the first floor bar, the Zoobar, cuddling puppies and taking photographs. That was the Pre PetFed get together, being organized as a ramp up to the PetFed 2017 to be held on 16 and 17 of December, 2017.

I met some familiar faces there, from the previous PetFed meet, The Pupper Party, while there were some new ones too.

There were games and treats were to be won. We could see dogs battling it out to be the cutest out there. What was amazing is that so many dogs at a place, and most of them got along quite well.

It was amazing to work with fellow photogs Sarah, Simran, Rohan and Dolly! Judging by all the enthusiastic dogs and their owners, it is evident that the PetFed 2017, is going to be one superb event.  Hope to see you there, my dear readers!

The Cat Cafe Studio – Part 2

In the previous part, you saw what makes the Cat Cafe Studio special and stand out of the crowd. This part is a special post dedicated to a couple of kittens who waged a war against each other for a toy. They stalked, pounced, bared their teeth and tumbled together in the fight. The winner, you may ask… lets find out!!

Without further ado, lets become spectators as two mighty warriors fight it out!

I feel, in the end, they kinda decided to reconcile and chew each end of the toy! We hoomans ought to learn a few things on sharing from these kittens!!

The Cat Cafe Studio – Part 1

In one of my previous posts, a fellow blogger, The Krazy Butterfly, suggested that I ought to visit the cat cafe that exists in Versova, Mumbai. It sounded quite interesting, so, on 1st of May, I made the trip.
The Cat Cafe Studio has a seating capacity of about 50 to the brim, and has a tad expensive but good food. But that is not the main attraction.
The attractions are in a well aerated and barricaded room which houses the cats. They range from tiny kittens, to full grown, battle scarred cats. Each one has their separate temperament and attitude towards the guests. Some would playfully come close and cuddle, while others would observe you from a distance, then maybe, MAYBE, come close to you and let you touch them, for a microsecond and then purr off. It was absolute fun, and I am not the one who would go to an interesting place, and let the camera back. So, here goes…kitties galore!!

I spent about three hours in company of the cats, and loved every moment of it. Apart from being fun to watch, they have the ability to suck away the monotony of day to day life and make you happy.
