Awestruck!

Sometimes we come across natural beauties, so amazing, that we need some time, a little more than a moment to take it all in and enjoy the view. How one chooses to enjoy the moment varies, some would love to share it with friends, some would like a little solitude.

Two worlds, wrapped into one, here goes!

And, I just noticed a thing, all three photos are on the east coast of India, Chennai, Pondicherry and Shanakrpur, in order.

This is for Blogging University: Developing Your Eye I and II, Solitude and Landscape.

Bliss

What is bliss, if not the absolute happiness that you feel when you gaze at the rising sun and spread out your arms in the wind to welcome the warmth? Or gaze at the sea shore and see the clouds part, just a tiny bit to let the sun’s rays shine?

My Muse

It has happened to me before, and I know it shall happen again. The feeling that I have had enough of taking photos and now its time to throw in the towel and give up, but then, my muse keeps me ticking.

Muse, when used as a noun is defined as a person, especially a lady, who inspires creative talent. If I go by that, then this is that lady right here.

But then, extrapolating the definition a bit more, the extraordinary sights during my travel, maybe they make me creative, so, these too are my muse.

Creativity may not always be original, it may be a tiny trick for the eyes. My muse is inspiring awe.

My muses belong from far and wide. I met her again recently at Delhi, and the views followed too at Delhi, Jaisalmer and Shankarpur. And the rest, I found near to home. A proof of concept and a bit of patience, they helped me muse my muse. Have a look at what others muse right here.

Cheers!!

TTL: Shankarpur II

By the time you read this, I shall be far away from my hometown, with a backpack and my camera gear, somewhere in Rajasthan for a week long trip. Long live scheduling of posts in the blog. Now, enough hype about the upcoming Delhi-Rajasthan trip, Shankarpur photos galore!

TTL: Shankarpur I

Its not everyday that we travel to the hills of the North East India and to the beaches of Bay of Bengal within a span of 15 days, but then, when the opportunity came knocking, I wasnt going to turn it down.

So here I was, at Shankarpur. It is still a relatively peaceful and calm beach on the east coast of India, facing the Bay of Bengal. It is situated about 20 kms away from Digha, but is immensely more calm, and also cheaper. Nearby are a couple of virgin beaches, Tajpur and Mandarmoni. Ideal destinations for couples, friends, families, who crave some quite time listening to the waves crashing and watch the moon rise and take early morning strolls.
Well, enough with the descriptions, have a look here 🙂
