Big; Glass

Big, can be anything huge. Be it a big house, a big society, or even a big city. I ll share a view, of a big Indian city, from the top of tall tower of a big residential project.

Glass, this time I would like to share one, that is tempered and shattered.

Awestruck!

Sometimes we come across natural beauties, so amazing, that we need some time, a little more than a moment to take it all in and enjoy the view. How one chooses to enjoy the moment varies, some would love to share it with friends, some would like a little solitude.

Two worlds, wrapped into one, here goes!

Bliss

What is bliss, if not the absolute happiness that you feel when you gaze at the rising sun and spread out your arms in the wind to welcome the warmth? Or gaze at the sea shore and see the clouds part, just a tiny bit to let the sun’s rays shine?

Water , a lot of it!

This photograph is one, where it becomes quite evident that we, as individuals are quite tiny, when compared against the vastness of the natural wonders.

Here we have a fisherman, ready for his daily tour for his catch, floating away on the river Ganga. Shot at Varanasi.

Predetermination and Mystery

Sometimes, we have a shot stuck in our head. We know what we want, how we want it, and from where we shall get it. The following is one of such shots, predetermined, preconceived and executed, just the way I wanted it to be.

Once the shot was done, I turned around, on my way back, and realized, the setting was quite amazing to shoot, one more frame, with a little mystery, this time.

No, it didn’t rain 🙂

Home…is where the heart is

Its not easy to describe what is home. To some it may be the company of the loved ones, to some it may mean the locality. And then to someone like me, someone who has spent the last 7 years in hostels and PGs, the room, the work space, that feels pretty much like home.

DSC_1977-1

The view from right outside my room, early morning is one of transition. As the sun rises, the cold night fades away, and ushers the day in with warmth.

To learn and to grow every day is what I aim for. Blogging University: Developing Your Eye I and II, underway.
